Cultivating Everyday Awe

In this recording, Terry Saracino (TNE Founding President & Core Faculty) starts by leading us in centering practices to ground us in the present moment and notice what arises for us when we contemplate the word, “awe.” Referencing the work of Dachner Keltner in his book, AWE: The New Science of Everyday Wonder and How It Can Transform Your Life, Terry connects the value of experiencing awe to our work with the Enneagram and spirituality.

Terry shares examples of how expanding our awareness to receive that which is greater than ourselves can free our attention from the bounds of our type structure, offering us more flexibility, openness, curiosity, and positive experiences.

Originally recorded at one of The Narrative Enneagram’s monthly Community Gatherings led by TNE faculty and other experts covering a variety of Enneagram-related topics. These gatherings are free for TNE members or $25 for the public and create a supportive environment to connect more deeply with ourselves and others.
